Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Melyvo mobile application and related services. By registering, the user accepts them.

2. The service
Melyvo provides a customizable AI-powered virtual companion. The virtual friend is not human and has no consciousness, feelings of its own, or real-life experience. Its responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate.
The service does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency services. Seek an appropriate professional when making important decisions. In immediate danger, call 112 in the EU or your local emergency service.
3. Eligibility and account
The service is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over. Users must provide a valid email address, keep their password confidential, and report unauthorized access promptly. A person may not create accounts in bulk to circumvent usage limits.
You can delete your account in the application or on the web deletion page. Deletion is permanent. You must separately cancel any store subscription through Apple or Google.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to break the law; harass, deceive, or endanger others; create content involving child sexual exploitation; facilitate violence; create malware or fraud; obtain personal data without authorization; or circumvent safety and usage limits. You must not provide another person’s confidential or special-category personal data without an appropriate legal basis.
For safety reasons, the system may block content, limit requests, or suspend or terminate access after serious or repeated violations. You can report problematic AI responses in the application.
5. User content
You retain your rights in the content you submit and confirm that you are entitled to provide it. To operate the service, you grant the provider and its processors a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, transmit, moderate, and use the content as necessary to generate AI responses. The Privacy Notice explains the related processing.
6. Subscription, renewal, and cancellation
Before purchase, the App Store or Google Play displays the current plan, price, currency, duration, and any trial period. A subscription may renew automatically until cancelled through the store. Charges, billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the relevant store’s rules. Restore Purchases can restore a previous entitlement when using the same store account.
The provider may change future plan content or prices in accordance with store rules and consumer law. A change will not reduce rights already paid for during the current period.
7. Availability and changes
The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, a security event, capacity constraints, or third-party failure. We will make reasonable efforts to restore operation. Features may change; we will provide appropriate advance notice of material adverse changes.
8. Intellectual property
The Melyvo name, branding, software, and proprietary content belong to the provider or its licensors. The user receives a personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the application for its intended purpose. Copying, reverse engineering, or commercial resale is permitted only where required by law or authorized in writing.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights. The provider does not guarantee the accuracy of AI responses or their suitability for a particular purpose. Users are responsible for how they use a response. Liability is not excluded for intentional harm, death or personal injury, damage to health, or where exclusion is prohibited by law.
10. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Hungarian law without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in the user’s country of residence. Complaints may be sent to support@melyvo.hu. Consumers may contact a competent alternative dispute resolution body or court. The European Commission’s former online dispute resolution platform was discontinued in 2025, so we do not link to it.
11. Changes to these terms
We will notify users of material changes in the application or by email before they take effect. Where a change requires new consent or acceptance, we will request it separately. The current version is available on this page.
